Solace ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Local data (stored on your device by default): your chosen name and companion name, mood logs and journal entries, chat history with your AI companion, app preferences and settings. In Ghost Mode, all data stays exclusively on your device — we cannot access it.
AI features: the text of your messages is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. We do not store your messages on our servers. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy.
Premium subscriptions: payment information is processed by PayFast (web users), Apple (iOS), or Google (Android). We never see your full card details. Only your subscription status is stored.
If our AI detects crisis language, it provides emergency contact information. This detection happens entirely through the AI model — no data is flagged or reported to authorities.
Solace is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Use Settings → "Clear all data" to permanently delete everything from your device. Enable Ghost Mode for maximum privacy. Contact: solace.admin@gmail.com
